STATIONS

HEADQUARTERS

Built in 1986, headquarters is located at 5 S. Rogers Road Cleveland, MO. Besides the administrative offices and the training sight, it is home to Engine 1, Tanker 1 and Squad 1.

STATION 2

Built in 1996, Station 2 is located at 20909 S. State Route Y Belton, MO. It houses Ladder 2 and Squad 2. It is also where the Board of Directors conduct their monthly meetings on the 2nd Wednesday of each month. Meetings begin at 7:00pm and the public is welcome.

APPARATUS

WCFPD is fortunate to have an incredible assortment of front line apparatus. Thanks to a general obligation bond passed by the taxpayers in years past, our district has one of the best fleets in Cass county.

ENGINE 1      Headquarters

 

 

Engine 1 is a 2013 Farrara. It can cary 8 firefighters, all of their firefighting equipment and a full array of EMS equipment for Basic Life Support. It also serves as a primary rescue truck carrying the Jaws of Life.

It has a 1,750 gpm (gallons per minute) pump and holds 750 gallons of water in its’ tank.

Ladder 2      Station 2

Ladder 2 is a 2000 Smeal with a 50′ ladder and elevated master stream. It can carry 6 firefighters with necessary equipment and EMS gear. It has a 1,750gpm pump and carries 500 gallons of water. In our rural setting, ladder trucks are used for their reach as well as elevation for larger fires.

Tanker 1      Headquarters

 

 

 

Tanker 1 is a 1996 Seagrave/Smeal that has been modified for its’ unique purpose. When there are no hydrants in the area, Tanker 1 brings 2,000 gallons of water with it. It also has a 1,500gpm pump, carries 6 firefighters and their equipment along with EMS gear.

Squad 1      Headquarters

 

 

 

Squad 1 is used for rapid response to EMS calls, natural cover fires and other miscelaneous calls for service. It is a 2002 Ford F550. It carries 2 firefighters, natural cover firefighting tools, 300 gallons of water with a 50gpm pump and EMS gear.

Squad 2      Station 2

 

 

 Squad 2 is used for rapid response to EMS calls, natural cover fires and other miscelaneous calls for service. It is a 2005 Ford F350. It carries 2 firefighters, natural cover firefighting tools, 200 gallons of water with a 50gpm pump and EMS gear.
